Body Butter

 

This stuff is HEAVENLY and looks amazing!

You can use any blend of Essential oils that are good for the skin in their recipe. I always use Frankincense and Lavender!

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup Organic Shea Butter

1 Cup Coconut Oil

1 tsp Jojoba oil

1 tsp Vitamin E Oil

 

 

1st Step is to melt put Shey butter, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, and jojoba Oil in a double broiler or glass bowl. I use a glass bowl here and a sauce pan with water in it, but always be sure to use something to cover your hands when handling it!

Look at that! All liquid and no chunks of Shey!

 

Step 2.

Remove the bowl from heat and let it cool for about 20 minutes then put it in the fridge until almost solid (About an hour)

Step 3

Remove from the fridge and add 20 drops of Frankincense Essential oil

Add 20 drop of  Lavender Essential Oil

Remember the band  Devo? Whip it…..whip it good.

About 10 minutes until fluffy.

Step 5

Store in a cool place out of sunlight  in a glass jar!

Boom! Easy right? It goes on a little oily but soaks in real nice and you know where all the ingredients came from!
